We are delighted to announce that Lisa Kingston has qualified as a Solicitor, following the completion of her training contract with Susan Howarth & Company Solicitors.
Lisa joined SH&Co. as a Legal Assistant in 2019, after having attained her Law Degree (with honours) at Staffordshire University in 2018 and a masters in Legal Practice (with distinction) in 2019. Lisa has obtained a significant amount of experience during her training contract with the practice, having also undertaken a seat in Family Law. As a qualified Solicitor Lisa will continue working alongside Emma Stride within the Firm’s Private Client (Wills, Trust & Probate) team.
Of her experience, Lisa says, “Undertaking my training contract with SH&Co. over the past 18 months has given me the opportunity to develop a wide range of both legal and personal skills and has provided me with a broad spectrum of private client experience. Working closely with Emma Stride has allowed me to gain an insightful understanding of private client work. Emma has given me invaluable support since I began here back in 2019 which will no doubt continue and which will help me to continue to grow as a newly qualified Solicitor. I chose to qualify into private client as there really is no better feeling than helping clients to get their affairs in order. It is often not just about meeting clients but their families too and being able to support them, sometimes through difficult moments in their lives. Whilst it has not been without its challenges, the support and guidance of the whole team has made it an enjoyable and rewarding experience and I am very much looking forward to furthering my career with the firm.”
Susan Howarth, Founder and Director says, “As a firm we embrace organic growth and development, and as such will always encourage and support staff to help them realise their full potential. Lisa has been a hardworking and committed Trainee Solicitor who, now that she is a qualified Solicitor, will be a credit to herself and the firm. I know what a phenomenal achievement this is for Lisa and how much it means to her – congratulations Lisa on this well-deserved accomplishment.”
We would all like to wish Lisa continued success in her role as a newly qualified Solicitor as she continues her legal career with us.
